Groen-Land was vroeger alleen ijs en sneeuw, maar is inderdaad een beetje groener geworden vanwege de opwarming van de aarde. Toch is hier een ongelooflijke hoeveelheid ijs te vinden. De lokale bevolking woont in een paar kleine dorpen en sommige proberen nog steeds op de ouderwetse manier te leven met Groenlandse honden en zeehonden en walvissen.
